MEASURING GUIDE FOR CUSTOM RIDING BOOTS

FOR THIS GUIDE YOU WILL NEED

A fabric tape measure

Your normal riding pants & socks

And a helping hand

Getting your correct leg height

  • Measure height with a slightly bent leg
  • Measure from the crease of the knee to the heel of the foot.
  • Know that the boots will drop so make sure to measure to the crease

Getting Your Calf Size right

  • Measure the widest part of your calf.
  • Slide down the measuring tape to find the widest part of your leg.
  • Do this for both legs as they may differ!

Measure height from heel to below the knee.
Step 2

Measure top leg circumference just below the knee bend.
Step 3

Measure calf circumference on the widest part of the leg.
Step 4

Measure ankle circumference 5cm up above the ankle-borne.

Measure circumference around the bridge.
Step 6

Measure foot width on top from side to side on the widest part of the foot.

Measure foot length from heel to the biggest toe.

i) Measure height distance from measurement 2 to measurement 3.
ii) Measure height distance from measurement 3 to measurement 4.
iii) List your normal SA/UK shoe size.
NB: Please all measurements to be done in standing position.
  • Make sure to double-check measurements to ensure accuracy.
  • Please make sure you measure same positions on both legs to avoid confusion
  • It is always recommended to measure more than once
